I know for a fact that I am an idiot, so possibly, our friendship supports the theory that you, possibly, are an idiot too. Maybe we should just reclaim "idiot" then?

I myself have known myself to be an idiot at one moment and not at another. It comforts me to know that idiocy often may be no more than situational.
It's possible that being an idiot is a very intelligent thing to be.
