I feel trapped by the Yes/No nature of this poem. Where's my chance for halting equivocation?
I see your point.How about this:would you, could youthrow this dog a bone?Then, maybe you're being facetious. The poem might work better as a confrontation. Hmmm.
I guess it depends on the little dance. And also, the problem is that I, annoyingly, also identify with the dog too.
