A new play from the writer/director team that brought you "My Breakup" and "Dating by Consensus". Produced in January 2013 for Small Press Traffic's Poets Theater.
From Left: Kevin Killian, Steve Orth, Lindsey Boldt & Sara Larsen |
Synopsis:
It’s the year 2063, fifty years in the future. A group of experimental poets in the winter of their lives find themselves in a retirement home. A young poet comes to visit eager to learn about the historic year 2013. The elders vie for the youngster’s attention whilst attempting to stay lucid and in the present. Will posterity look kindly on this rag-tag bunch of poetic geriatrics? Or have their non-conformist life-style choices led them down a slippery slope of forgotten-hood? Hilarity ensues in this comic romp improvised live by real-live poets.
